MSU opens ‘Eagles Landing’ for student success
Morehead State University is excited to launch Eagles Landing, a newly dedicated space for academic advising and retention located in Room 101 of the recently renovated Camden-Carroll Library. This one-stop shop offers students convenient access to professional advising, retention services, and academic support in a central, welcoming location.
Eagles Landing is part of a broader $1.15 million renovation of Camden-Carroll Library. Upgrades include new finishes, flooring, ceilings, lighting, and paint on the first floor, along with the addition of 16 new offices for academic advisors.
To celebrate the launch of Eagles Landing and support students during the first week of classes, the Office of Retention & Advising invites all Eagles to stop by Room 101 in Camden-Carroll Library from August 18–20. Students can get first-day-of-class photos, quick assistance, and fun giveaways. Whether students need help finding a class, assistance confirming their schedule or advisor, or just want to connect with someone who can help, the team is ready to provide support.
"Eagles Landing makes it easier than ever for students to access the support they need,” said Michelle Barber, director of academic advising and retention. "Our advising team is deeply committed to student success. Their expertise, passion and encouragement help students feel confident and supported. They are here to guide, listen, and help students achieve their goals."
The Office of Retention & Advising is committed to helping students stay on course, graduate on time, and thrive academically. Services include personalized advising, degree planning, and free tutoring through the Tutoring & Learning Center.
