Graduate creates scholarship honoring kindness and sisterhood
Tymber Cole (Class of 2023) grew up in Morehead and always knew she wanted to attend MSU. After graduating from Lakeside Christian Academy in 2019, she enrolled and immediately became involved in campus activities, joining student organizations including Chi Omega fraternity and Campus Crusade for Christ.
Though the COVID-19 pandemic certainly affected her college career, she did not allow it to impact her student experience negatively and recognizes her time as a student as the best four years of her life.
Inspired by her experience and passion for her alma mater, Cole recently established the Tymber Cole “Kindness is Key” Scholarship. The fund will provide an award to a junior or senior member of Chi Omega who goes above and beyond in showing kindness and sisterhood to others.
“My entire life, my parents have instilled in me that one of the greatest things we can do as human beings is to be someone who does for others and gives to causes in which we are passionate about,” she reflects.
“It truly blesses me to be able to give back to my Epsilon Theta sisters of Chi Omega. It is my hope that this encourages and inspires these remarkable women to be givers in the future as well.”
