MSU to honor former employees at Memorial Brick Ceremony

Morehead State University will once again recognize the faithful years of service of former employees and retirees during the annual Memorial Brick Program.

This program honors employees or retirees who have passed during or after their years of employment. Through the Memorial Brick Program, MSU forever recognizes these former employees in the center of campus along the Memorial Brick Walk.

The ceremony is held annually on the Friday of Homecoming weekend, which is Oct. 17 this year.

“It is an honor to oversee the Memorial Brick Ceremony, a deeply meaningful tradition that pays tribute to those who have dedicated their time and talents to Morehead State University,” said Leslee Toy (Class of 1990, 2003), alumni and donor experience officer. “Each brick laid is more than a marker—it is a symbol of their enduring legacy, and dedicated service at MSU.”
