MSU to Host 5th Annual Caudill College Justice Festival

Morehead State University’s Caudill College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences will host the 5th Annual Caudill College Justice Festival on Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The event will take place on the third floor of the Adron Doran University Center on the MSU campus.

The Justice Festival is an annual celebration of scholarship, activism, and community engagement centered on themes of justice in contemporary society. This year’s festival invites students, faculty, and community members to participate in a full day of presentations, discussions, and breakout sessions exploring the many dimensions of justice and injustice in our time.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Noëlie Frix, who will deliver a talk titled “(In)Justice in Our Time: Reckoning with the Limits of Legality and Building Resistance.” Dr. Frix’s address will explore how individuals and communities can confront structural inequities and imagine new possibilities for social transformation.

A light breakfast will be served at 9 a.m. in ADUC, followed by a series of breakout sessions throughout the day.
