Morehead State named Top Veteran-Friendly School
Morehead State University is consistently proving to be an institution where veterans and active military students feel supported to pursue their academic and professional goals. U.S. Veterans Magazine has recognized MSU as a Top Veteran-Friendly School for 2025.
"This recognition reflects our dedication to embrace all members of the military, veterans and family members to ensure their academic success while attending MSU," said Joey Bryant (Class of 2011, 2017), adult military admissions counselor, and Veterans Affairs coordinator.
U.S. Veterans Magazine conducts an annual national evaluation to identify the organizations and institutions making notable efforts in supporting veterans and transitioning service members.
Schools like Morehead State were honored for offering at least one of the following:

Bryant said there are plans to expand offerings to veteran students, including upgrading the Student Veterans Resource Center with additional computers and other resources, while maintaining a track record of service for those who have served our country.
"The professionalism and devotion from MSU's faculty and staff is the reason why we consistently receive high remarks for how we help veterans succeed in their academic endeavors," he said.
