MSU Board of Regents to Meet Nov. 21
The Morehead State University Board of Regents will hold its quarterly meeting on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, at MSU at Mt. Sterling, located in the Montgomery County Board of Education Building. The schedule includes committee sessions, recognitions, reports, and action items from University leadership.
The audit committee plans to review the University’s 2024–25 audit report, receive the annual report of the president’s expenses, and consider a contract for the student health clinic.
The agenda also includes recognition of faculty, staff and students, as well as a series of recommendations and reports from MSU President Dr. Jay Morgan.

- Approval of minutes from the Oct. 17, 2025, meeting
- Amendments to PAc-22
- Naming of the Equine Health and Education Center
- Approval of the University’s organizational chart
- Asset preservation projects
- Coaching contracts
Board members will receive updates on the 2024–25 fiscal year, fall housing, and the freshman class, as well as plans for upgrades to Phil Simms Stadium. Recommendations include acceptance of the University’s 2024–25 audit report, ratification of the amended operating budget, and approval of amendments to both the Board’s bylaws and the University mission statement.
Following the open session, the Regents will enter a closed executive session under KRS 61.810(b) and (c) to discuss the future disposition of real estate and pending litigation. No action will be taken during the closed session.
