Students advance their skills with Adobe Certifications
Students in Morehead State University’s Caudill College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences earned 49 Adobe Certified Professional certifications in Fall 2025.
The certifications span a wide range of creative disciplines, reflecting the diverse opportunities available to students pursuing careers in design, media production, and visual communication.
This fall’s results include:
- 17 students certified in Visual Design using Photoshop
- 4 students certified in Graphic Design and Illustration using Illustrator
- 2 students certified in Print & Digital Media Publication using InDesign
- 14 students certified in Digital Video using Premiere Pro
- 6 students earning the Visual Design Specialist credential
- 6 students earning the Video Design Specialist credential
One standout performance this semester came from Brandon Holbrook, a junior from East Point, who earned the Top Overall Score with a 960 out of 1000 on the Adobe Certified Professional – Digital Video using Premiere Pro exam.
Holbrook’s score places him among the top test-takers nationwide for the fall term. He was joined by six other MSU students who earned scores above 900.
“These results show what’s possible when students are supported by outstanding faculty, dedicated staff, and cutting-edge resources like our new computer lab,” said Certification Program Coordinator Tony Glover (Class of 1992, 1994). “Our students aren’t just keeping up; they’re competing on a global scale.”
Adobe Certified Professional credentials are recognized across the creative and digital media fields. They indicate a student’s proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud tools used for design, video, and digital communication. For students, certification serves as a measure of technical skills that complement academic coursework.
Certification helps students succeed both in the classroom and after graduation. Certifications help graduates stand out to employers by providing clear verification of job-ready skills.
