Morehead State hosts President’s Concert on April 15

Morehead State University invites the campus and surrounding community to attend the President’s Concert on the Lawn at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, outside Andrews Hall.

The annual spring event will feature live music performed by students and faculty from the Kentucky Center for Traditional Music, highlighting the rich musical traditions of the Appalachian region.

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs to relax and enjoy the outdoor concert setting.

Sweetwater Sips will be on site beginning at 4 p.m., offering refreshments for purchase. The first 25 attendees will receive a voucher for a free coffee or energy drink.

The President’s Concert on the Lawn is free and open to the public and serves as a celebration of community, music and the arrival of spring.
