Morehead State to host community ceramics summer course

MSU is inviting community members to explore their creativity this summer through a new Community Ceramics Summer Course hosted by the Department of Communication, Media, Art & Design.

The course runs from June 1 through July 1 and will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Claypool-Young Ceramics Studio.

Designed for beginners and experienced artists alike, the course will introduce participants to the fundamentals of working with clay while creating both sculptural and functional ceramic pieces. No prior experience is required.

The course aims to provide a welcoming and hands-on environment for community members interested in learning new artistic skills, developing creative expression, and engaging with MSU’s arts community.
