Craft Academy to host annual Alumni & Leadership Conference
Alumni from Morehead State University’s Craft Academy for Excellence in Science & Mathematics are invited to return to campus for the Craft Academy Alumni & Leadership Conference, a day dedicated to reconnecting, networking and celebrating the growing Craft Academy community.
The conference takes place from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, on the Third Floor of the Adron Doran University Center.
The Craft Academy Alumni Leadership Conference will bring together Craft Academy alumni, current students, University leadership and corporate partners for a full day of conversation, professional connections and opportunities to reconnect with classmates and friends.
The day begins with registration and a mix-and-mingle, followed by a welcome message from Craft Academy Executive Director Aaron Collins and MSU President Dr. Jay Morgan. Craft Academy founder Dr. Joe Craft (Class of 2017) will serve as the featured speaker.
Throughout the day, alumni and students will have opportunities to hear from corporate partners, participate in networking sessions and connect with fellow Craft Academy graduates. The luncheon program will include the presentation of Outstanding Alumni Awards. This prestigious recognition is awarded to Craft Academy graduates who exemplify excellence, exceptional dedication, and make significant contributions within their field. It honors alumni whose achievements, leadership, and commitment to advancing their area of expertise set them apart as exemplary professionals and role models.
Following the conference program, alumni will gather for class meetings from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. Yearbooks will be distributed during the event, and attendees will also have opportunities to win door prizes and gifts from local businesses.
