AI Task Force

The task force serves as a campus resource for identifying best practices, evaluating institutional needs and recommending strategies that support the effective and ethical use of AI. Its work includes reviewing existing policies and procedures, identifying professional development opportunities, assessing resource needs, and considering how AI may influence teaching, student success, research, communications and administrative operations.

In collaboration with campus stakeholders, the task force develops guidance and resources on academic integrity, ethical use of AI, cybersecurity, and classroom applications of generative AI. The group also supports workshops, speakers and other educational opportunities designed to improve AI literacy among faculty, staff and students.

As artificial intelligence continues to evolve, the AI Taskforce helps ensure that Morehead State remains informed, adaptable and prepared to leverage AI in ways that advance the University's mission and strategic priorities.

The task force includes members from faculty and staff across campus, as well as student representatives.
