When you enrolled at the Craft Academy at Morehead State University, you began an educational experience above and beyond anything you’d receive at a traditional high school. You experienced an exceptional STEM+X academic curriculum that gave you the skills, knowledge and confidence to succeed in college. The connections you made during your time at Craft Academy should act as the beginning of your professional foundation. It’s never too early to start building your network.

That is the Craft Academy difference. It’s a commitment to you and your success. It started when you enrolled and continues throughout your life. We ask a lot from our students and alumni. As students, we asked that you leave home two years ahead of your grade-level peers to tackle a rigorous courseload while residing on a university campus. As alumni, we ask that you remember the value of the program you were gifted, continue to invest in that program through giving back, be available and willing to mentor others, and be an active stakeholder in the future success of the Craft Academy. We ask you to Be connected. Stay connected. Connect Others. We invest in an exclusive networking platform for Craft Academy students and alumni to ensure you always have this capability. Our site is known as Craft Connect, where you can stay informed on current events, find and communicate with your Craft Academy peers and engage in mentorship, among other professional advantages. 

After graduation, you're still part of the Craft Academy family. Your story is our story, too! As you reach new milestones and accomplishments, earn new degrees or achieve promotions, we want to know about it every step of the way. It’s our objective to shine a light on our alumni when they have exciting news to share. Through alumni spotlights in our monthly newsletter, we highlight the accomplishments of our graduates to inspire the rest of our network and to build upon the foundation of professional camaraderie you began to form just by being part of the Craft Academy experience. We invite alumni to return to our graduations, where we honor their presence and commitment to our mission.

We relish the honor of hosting an annual Alumni Leadership Conference (ALC), bringing our alumni and students together at Morehead State University once a year. During the ALC, we have new alumni speakers each year. We present Outstanding Alumni Awards to new recipients, enjoy guest STEM speakers, share fond memories of our unique experiences at Craft Academy, and encourage current students to learn from visiting alumni. It is a joy to welcome back our former students and witness their triumphs and growth firsthand.
