MSUTeach Scholarships
MSU offers a variety of scholarships to MSUTeach students through the MSU Foundation.
Volgenau Scholars Program
The Volgenau Scholars Program supports students pursuing a degree in education. Sara Lane Volgenau grew up in Morehead, graduated from MSU and became an elementary school teacher. She and her husband, Ernst Volgenau, created this endowment, believing that improving education and the pipeline of teachers will help the economy of Eastern Kentucky, the Commonwealth, and the entire nation.
Education Scholarships
MSUTeach students qualify for several scholarships through the MSU Foundation, including a tuition-free guarantee for 2026-27.
NOYCE SCHOLARSHIP
Scholarship of up to $10,000/year for MSUTeach juniors and seniors with a GPA of 2.8 or greater in completed UTCH courses and in completed content courses. This opportunity is funded by the National Science Foundation.
