Scholarships
The true value of the SpaceTrek program is roughly $5,000 per student, reflecting the hands-on learning, expert instruction, materials, and experiences you’ll gain. Thanks to support from an Appalachian Regional Commission grant, the SpaceTrek registration fee is only $1,000, making the program far more accessible.
Even so, we know that $1,000 can still be a high cost for many families. We never want finances to stand in the way of a meaningful opportunity—or your chance to explore engineering and space. That’s why we proudly offer scholarships and financial assistance to help make SpaceTrek possible for students who are ready to learn, grow, and take on the challenge. We encourage you to apply!
Applying for Scholarships is Easy
Applying for SpaceTrek scholarships is simple. Each scholarship is listed below with a brief description and a link to an informative document.
Each document explains the scholarship and directs you to an online form. There, you will provide basic information about yourself. Each scholarship includes a specific prompt that you'll need to respond to.
Most responses may be submitted in one of two formats:
- A written essay of up to 1,000 words, submitted directly through the application form
- A video response of up to 90 seconds, submitted via Dropbox.
