What You'll Learn in the sport management master's Program
Increase skills and knowledge to plan, organize and direct sports programs, events and facilities. You will receive instruction in various aspects of sport management, including governance, organization, finance, media relations and legal issues.
What You Can Do with a sport management master's degree
Our sport management master's degree program prepares you for management careers in amateur, collegiate and professional sports teams, facilities and events management, and sports management and merchandising.
Admission to the sport management master's program
- General admission to graduate study.
- Admission is determined by an admission index. The index is computed as follows: Index = (undergraduate GPA x 200) + GMAT score. The index must equal at least 900. A minimum GMAT score of 400 is required. The GRE equivalent score may be considered.
- A minimum 2.5 GPA in a related undergraduate field is required.
- After submitting and reviewing all application materials, students may be conditionally admitted to the sport management program. Conditionally admitted students may be required to successfully complete selected undergraduate prerequisites and/or maintain additional program conditions.
