If you are applying for aid for 2024-25, significant changes to the FAFSA (federal app for aid) are happening. You will need to apply in January.

Navigating the Financial Aid Process

Financial aid helps students and their families pay for educational expenses. It can be need- or merit-based. It can include loans you pay back, grants or scholarships that don’t require repayment, and even student jobs.

Applying for financial aid can be confusing, but our team can help every step of the way. Meet our counselors and ask questions or download an aid checklist to review the financial aid process.
Your first step: Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and have your results sent to Morehead State (FAFSA code 001976). FAFSA results determine whether you qualify for need-based aid.
