Board of Directors
The Alumni Association Board of Directors is a group of alumni volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to making their alma mater an even better place. Attending quarterly meetings, hosting alumni events and more, these volunteers do great work for our Eagle Nation.
The present Alumni Association of Morehead State University is a direct refinement of the Alumni Club established at Morehead State Normal School in 1923.
The first graduating class was recognized in May 1927, with Mr. Russell Williamson serving as president of the Alumni Club from 1928 to 1932. Renamed Morehead State Teachers College in 1930, Mr. Hubert Counts was elected president for 1932-33.
The Alumni Association, as it is known today, was established in 1934, continuing to evolve through the institution's transition to Morehead State College and finally to Morehead State University in 1966.

MeMe Ratliff (Class of 1995, 2001)
MeMe Ratliff is President of the Alumni Association and a proud Eagle representing the Louisville area. As a student, she was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority, Baptist Student Union and intramural sports.
Sharon Ray (Class of 1988)
Sharon is current president-elect and a 1988 MSU graduate. As a student, she was an Eagle Guide, RA in Nunn Hall and member of the Black Gospel Ensemble.
Sherry Adkins (Class of 1974, 1995, 2010)
A proud three-time MSU graduate and retired RN, Sherry treasures meeting her husband at MSU and remains deeply passionate about her alma mater.
Arlie Bailey (Class of 1994)
Arlie Bailey is a 1994 graduate who manages her family farm and serves as a Cardinal Cabinet advisor for Chi Omega. Arlie is known for her philanthropic mindset and desire to help others.
Dr. Allie Caudill (Class of 2014, 2016)
A two-time MSU graduate (2014, 2016), Allie works as a Family Medicine Physician at King's Daughters Family Care Center. While at MSU, she was active in Chi Omega, Student Alumni Ambassadors and the Biology Club.
Vaughn Caudill (Class of 1973, 1975)
A two-time Morehead State graduate (1973, 1975), he is a retired military comptroller (CFO) who brings extensive financial expertise, leadership experience and a lifelong commitment to Morehead State through his service on the Alumni Board.
Sarah Cooper (Class of 2000)
A 2000 Morehead State graduate, she serves as a legislative liaison for the Kentucky Department for Health and Family Services and brings leadership, collaboration, organizational skills and a passion for supporting fellow Eagles through her service on the Alumni Board.
Blake Dials (Class of 2017)
Blake is a GOLD alum (graduate of the last decade) with a bachelor’s degree in business administration/finance. He is based in Lexington and is a corporate account executive for Central Transport. Click to learn about Blake.
Jean T. Elliott (Class of 1975)
Jeannie Elliott, a 1975 graduate, spent her career working for The Walt Disney Company. She is honored to serve on the board and looks forward to the opportunity to give back.
Steven Engels (Class of 1977)
A 1977 Morehead State graduate, he brings a strong work ethic, years of sales experience and a lifelong commitment to serving his alma mater as a member of the Alumni Board.
David Gillum (Class of 2013, 2018, 2023)
David Gillum is a three-time MSU graduate. He is passionate about encouraging Future Eagles to attend Morehead State.
Latressa Graham (Class of 2001)
LaTressa is a 2001 business administration/accounting graduate based in Maysville. She is an equity officer for Mason County Schools.
Jack Herlihy (Class of 1969, 1972)
Jack is a two-time graduate of MSU who has spent time as a teacher, principal, superintendent and led numerous education initiatives all over the world.
Kelly Holdren-Pillow (Class of 1982, 1984)
A proud two-time Morehead State graduate (1982, 1984), she serves as a flight attendant with Delta Air Lines and brings strong communication skills, public speaking experience and a genuine passion for connecting with others to the Alumni Board.
Angel Johnson (Class of 2003, 2007)
Angel Johnson holds two degrees from MSU. During her time as a student, she was involved in the Black Gospel Ensemble.
Chase Johnson (2015, 2017)
Chase is a two-time graduate of MSU in Engineering Management. He resides in Lexington, KY but remains connected to the University by serving on several boards.
Dan Johnson (Class of 1985)
Dan Johnson graduated from MSU with a degree in industrial technology. He is the founder of Toolsey, a cloud-based lead management platform.
Erik Kouns (Class of 2001, 2023)
Erik is a two-time graduate of MSU. He is retired from the Kentucky State Police and now serves as a high school math teacher at East Carter High School.
Kasandra Lambert (Class of 2011)
A 2011 graduate, Kasandra resides in Clearfield, KY, and serves as the Assistant Director in the Office of Human Research Protections at West Virginia University. While at MSU, she was active in Student Alumni Ambassadors and the Chemistry Club.
Dominique Pleasant-Moore (Class of 1998)
Dominique, an Elementary ELA Instructional Lead with JCPS in Louisville, KY, brings her educational leadership experience and passion for community building to the MSU Alumni Board. She looks forward to helping advance the alumni association's goals.
Stuart Osborne (Class of 2002)
Stuart Osborne was actively involved in MSU student life before his graduation in 2002. He was a member of Sigma Nu, Marching Band, Student Alumni Ambassadors and worked at WMKY.
Connor Tilford (Class of 2021)
A 2021 graduate, Connor works as an Operations Manager. During his time at MSU, he was active in Delta Tau Delta, SGA and CAB and especially enjoyed serving as an Orientation Leader.
Herb Triplett (Class of 1985)
Herb is a 1985 MSU graduate. As a student, he was actively involved the SAE Fraternity and had the opportunity to work for Steve Hamilton and the baseball team.
