What is the attire for Homecoming?

Most events are casual — your MSU t-shirt, jeans and comfy shoes are just fine! The Homecoming Kickoff Reception and Alumni Awards Ceremony are business casual.

Will the MSU Bookstore be open?

Yes! The bookstore, located on the first floor of the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC), will be open on Thursday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. A fan shop at Phil Simms Stadium will also be open before and during the football game.

Where do I park?

Once you arrive to campus, you will notice that the campus landscape is changing in a few different areas! Therefore, parking will look a little different in some places.

What if I have special mobility needs?

Most events are easily accessible and have solid walking paths and accessible handicap parking. However, wheelchair and walker access may be difficult in a few areas, particularly around the athletic fields.

Please know that we will do whatever we can to accommodate you and ensure you're able to participate in all festivities. If you have concerns about accessibility, please feel free to email our office at events@moreheadstate.edu and we will be happy to plan accommodations.

What happens if there is inclement weather?

Fall in Morehead is one of the most beautiful times of the year, but we may definitely be subject to a rain shower or two. Please check the forecast and dress appropriately for the weather.

In the slight chance that inclement weather requires us to cancel or significantly delay an activity, we will strive to share updates as quickly as possible via email and social media. Do I have to register?

All Homecoming events are complimentary to guests and advanced registration is not required. It is, however, encouraged. Letting us know of your planned attendance ensures we appropriately plan for food and other needs.
