How to Give

Thank you for your interest in giving to Morehead State University! The private support of alumni and friends has a tremendous impact on the educational opportunities we provide our students.

Please review the variety of methods through which you can give!

To make your gift online, visit our secure donation form.

You may pay via credit card or direct debit. You will receive immediate confirmation of your gift via email and an additional acknowledgement will be sent to you via the mail within 7-10 days. Our online form also supports gifts made via PayPal!

If you are sending your gift without a gift card, please include a note or other documentation letting us know if there is a particular fund you want your gift to support.

Recurring giving is an easy and convenient way to give to MSU on a regular basis.

If you're interested in setting up a recurring gift, be it monthly, quarterly, annually or any other schedule you choose, you may do so online through our secure donation form. Recurring gifts may be set up via credit card or direct debit from a checking account. Recurring gifts are processed mid-month and are indefinite unless you specify an end date or request to cancel, which may be done at any time.

More than 1,000 companies in the United States sponsor Matching Gift Programs for employees and their families. Most companies match on a 1:1 basis, meaning they will contribute one dollar to MSU to match each dollar you give. Others however, match 2:1, 3:1 and even 4:1.

Each company manages its own Matching Gift Program. Contact your human resources officer for more information or search our database.

Giving stocks, bonds and mutual funds that have increased in value provides a wonderful way to benefit MSU students while receiving numerous tax benefits.

Corporate sponsorships allow businesses to support the initiatives of MSU. In turn, MSU gives businesses the recognition and publicity that helps their marketing efforts, too.
