MSU kicks off fall semester with Welcome Week+ events
Morehead State University welcomes students back to campus next week with events designed to help new and returning Eagles connect, get involved and start the semester strong.
Welcome Week+ kicks off on Aug. 14 with new student move-in on Aug. 14 & 15. Returning students move in on Aug. 16 & 17.
Welcome Week+ continues throughout August with events to help students be engaged and feel at home on campus. It's a great time to meet new friends, engage with student organizations, and explore the many opportunities MSU offers inside and outside the classroom. Events include the 38th Annual Ice Cream Social, Eagle Fest, Rock the Rec and recreation activities and other special events.
Students who need help with classes or have questions can drop by the Eagles Landing (Aug. 18-20) at 101 Camden-Carroll Library, where our Advising and Retention Team can assist.
Everyone is welcome to join MSU for Topping Off Prefontaine Hall on Aug. 20, a special event from 2 to 4 p.m. that celebrates the final beam placement of our newest residence hall. Students are invited to sign the beam and participate in this historic moment.
For more information on Welcome Week+, contact the Office of Student Activities at studentactivities@moreheadstate.edu or 606-783-2071.
Classes for the fall semester start Aug. 18, but there is still time to apply to become an Eagle.
