Valentines Under the Stars returns to MSU Star Theater
The Morehead State University’s Star Theater will host a special event this month, Valentines Under the Stars.
The event will be held at the Space Science Center Star Theater on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m., with an inclement weather date scheduled for Feb. 20.
The Valentine’s Day event features a four-course gourmet meal with wine pairings, live music by Lexington Symphony Orchestra harpist Sally Kelton, and an immersive planetarium experience. The evening also includes a featured planetarium program, a live presentation of the night sky and telescope viewing, if the weather permits. Each couple will receive a special Valentine’s gift.
Reservations are required, and the cost is $190 per couple. Guests may register and pay online by credit card or register below to arrange payment by cash or check.
Attendees are encouraged to include any dietary restrictions or accessibility needs when registering.
The Star Theater, located in the Space Science Center on campus, is a state-of-the-art digital planetarium that offers public programs year-round to Eastern Kentucky. In addition to regular shows on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, the theater offers laser shows throughout the year featuring an extensive program of library and live sky presentations.
