Canvas Access & Getting Started
Canvas is now available to Morehead State faculty for training and course development purposes. If you are preparing to use Canvas, start with these steps:
- Log in to MSU Canvas using your MSU credentials.
- Explore the “Growing with Canvas (Teacher Training)” course in your Canvas course list.
- Register for a Canvas training session.
- Submit a course migration request if you would like your Blackboard course copied into Canvas.
When you log in to Canvas, you may see:
- A blank sandbox course, where you can build, experiment, and explore in Canvas.
- A self-paced training course appropriate to your role as faculty or student.
- Course shells as they become available.
Before you begin building
We recommend waiting to begin full course development until the MSU base template is available, unless your course is part of an early development or migration workflow.
