MAT Student Teaching Process & Sample Courses
The MAT program offers professional advising and mentorship as well as classroom experience and rigorous coursework to prepare you to be a successful educator.
Student Teaching Process
MAT students will participate in a range of field experience activities, including working directly with students, collaborating with mentor teachers, and completing a supervised student teaching experience, providing valuable hands-on practice and preparation for their future teaching careers.

All MAT candidates complete a shared professional core that includes coursework in:
