A minor in horsemanship is a complement to several degrees, including veterinary science, business, biology and others.

What makes morehead state’s program different

You’ll get to learn by doing at the Derrickson Agricultural Complex, also called the University Farm, and Browning Orchard in nearby Fleming County. The 325-acre farm includes a large and small animal hospital, greenhouses, barns and livestock showing facilities. The orchard teaches students about large-scale fruit production. Students can even live on the farm in one of two residence halls.

Admission to the horsemanship minor program

To enroll in the horsemanship minor, you must be an active student at MSU with a chosen major field of study.
