KENTUCKY SCHOLARSHIPS

Morehead State awards more than $57M in University and MSU Foundation scholarships and grants annually. MSU offers a variety of scholarships based on several criteria, including academic excellence, area of study, type of student, where you live, and your needs.

This information applies to new students for the 2027-28 school year.

Merit Scholarships

You're automatically considered for these annually awarded scholarships when you apply.

Specialized incoming student scholarships

Full Tuition scholarships

These scholarships require a separate application & have an early deadline.

^ Separate application process required.

Students must reside on campus for eight semesters to retain their scholarship award.

Notes: Scholarships require on-campus housing for a minimum of 4 semesters. A 50% reduction in scholarship if the housing requirement is not met. Unweighted high school GPA is utilized for all scholarships. Students must be enrolled full-time at MSU to receive scholarships.

All awards are contingent upon the availability of funding and may be subject to change.

Only composite ACT scores are accepted for scholarship consideration. Superscore ACT results are not accepted.
