Out-of-State Scholarships
Morehead State awards more than $48.6M in University and MSU Foundation scholarships and grants annually. MSU offers a variety of scholarships based on several criteria, including academic excellence, area of study, type of student, where you live, and your needs.
This information applies to new students for the 2026-27 school year.
Specialized incoming Out-of-state student scholarships

Ohio Regional Tuition Advantage Merit Scholarships
This reciprocity-based program offers in-state tuition rates for eligible students from the following Ohio counties: Adams, Athens, Brown, Gallia, Jackson, Highland, Lawrence, Meigs, Pike, Scioto, or Vinton. You’re automatically considered for these annually awarded scholarships when you apply.
