This game will walk you through your next steps as an Eagle.

How to Play

  1. Print this checklist and follow the steps below.
  2. Complete Tasks: Each task earns you 1 point.
  3. Earn Rewards:
    • 1-5 points: A surprise gift!
    • 6-10 points: Entry into the $5,000 one-time scholarship award drawing.
    • Complete all 10 items: Double your chances to win with two entries!

You will receive an email with your username (Eagle ID) and an initial password.

Once your account has been activated, you'll have access to a new email account (ending in @moreheadstate.edu).

To complete this task, simply write the full name of the person you referred to sign up for SOAR on your checklist!

Your advisor will contact you via the email you used when you registered for SOAR to discuss your course schedule for Fall 2025. If you have not received any communication from your advisor 5 business days before the date of your SOAR registration, email aare@moreheadstate.edu.

After you have applied to MSU, been accepted, and submitted your enrollment deposit, follow these steps:

  • Go to the Housing Management online tool.
  • Log in with your MSU ID number and MSU password (Use "mXXXXXXX" as your ID and the password you set).
  • Click on "Applications" at the top of the screen.
  • Select "First Year Student Housing Application."

Submission Instructions

  • In-Person SOAR Attendees: Drop off your printed checklist at the SOAR information desk on the date of the SOAR event you attend to receive your prize and/or enter the scholarship drawing. No email submissions will be accepted.
  • Virtual SOAR Attendees: You can submit your completed checklist during your virtual SOAR session. Submissions will not be accepted after your scheduled SOAR date.
  • Important Dates: The scholarship drawing will be held after all SOAR events on August 11, 2025. The winner will be announced via their student email.
