Living-Learning Communities
Living-Learning Communities provide you with the opportunity to build connections beyond the classroom. You’ll live alongside students—and interact with faculty and staff—who share your interests and goals. It’s a great way to make friends, find support, and feel at home on campus.
Research shows that students in Living-Learning Communities feel more connected, earn higher GPAs, graduate sooner, and experience a more rewarding college experience, both in the classroom and in the residence halls.

TALONS is an acronym for Training Active Leaders of New Students. This Living-Learning Community is built on the foundation of servant leadership. You will also have an opportunity to participate in at least two service projects, either on campus or in the surrounding community, each semester. Students will also be able to take a couple of general education classes in our newly created indoor/outdoor classroom on the first floor.
