Facilities Management

If you have been on MSU's campus you have experienced what Facilities Management does every day.

We help build the buildings, and we clean and maintain the campus grounds. Our crew members clean from floor to ceiling in all buildings, we fix what is broken, we run the shuttles that transport students and employees. Facilities Management also plans and completes renovations and makes sure the environment is safe, including clearing snow during the winter months. We provide water, heat and energy management initiatives to make campus more sustainable. Facilities also is charged with space planning, and the Office of Conference and Event Services reserves and prepares meeting space. Our movers set up and break down all events on campus in addition to moving offices and departments.

Sometimes we have to close roads, turn water off or do repairs that are not convenient, but necessary, to make the University the best it can be for our students, staff and faculty.
