WHAT YOU’LL LEARN IN EXERCISE SCIENCE
Our Exercise Science program provides the knowledge and hands-on skills for career success. Internships provide real-world experience, and classes in exercise physiology, functional anatomy, exercise program leadership, facility design, and nutrition prepare you for various certifications, including the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
Students gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge diagnostic technology in the Human Performance Lab.
WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH AN EXERCISE SCIENCE DEGREE
Our program combines science-based business and leadership classes to prepare you for clinical, community health, and commercial careers. You’ll also be ready for graduate studies in physical and occupational therapy, athletic training, strength and conditioning, working well with others, thinking critically, and being professional. If you choose, you can continue your education in graduate school.
