Nursing Scholarships

Morehead State has a number of scholarships for nursing students. 

C. Louise Caudill Nursing and Imaging ScholarshipRecipients should be majoring in nursing or an allied health field, with preference given to students from the University's service region. Recipients shall maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. Recipients must be full-time undergraduate students who are admitted and enrolled in the program.

C. Louise Caudill Scholarship for WomenFor female students wishing to enter the profession of medicine, or pursue a career in health, physical education or sport sciences. The recipients shall be unconditionally admitted and enrolled in the program.

Clifford R. and Addie R. Rader Nursing Scholarship- To provide Scholarships to full-time students enrolled in the MSU's pre-licensure and post-licensure Baccalaureate Nursing Program. Students must be Kentucky residents to be eligible. Recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Note: Special application form required.

Dr. Freda l. Kilburn Scholarship- To support a scholarship for students who are single parents from Kentucky and have completed one full year in the nursing program at MSU.

Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship- Recipients should be majoring in nursing or an allied health field, with preference given to students from the University's service region. Recipients shall maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. Recipients must be full-time undergraduate students who are admitted and enrolled in the program.

Robert and Helen Holbrook Memorial Scholarship- To support scholarships for MSU students, preferably from Rowan County and preferably majoring in a health profession, who show evidence of financial need. No student receiving athletically-related financial aid shall be eligible. Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Warren and Winifred Proudfoot ScholarshipTo support scholarships to pre-health professionals such as nursing, pre-medicine students and other health-related fields.
