SCHOLARSHIPS
Morehead State awards more than scholarships in University and MSU Foundation scholarships and grants each year. MSU offers a variety of scholarships based on several criteria, including academic excellence, area of study, what type of student you are, where you live, and your need.
MSU FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS
The Morehead State University Foundation offers nearly 400 scholarship opportunities, thanks to generous alumni and donors who care deeply about Morehead State University and its students. Many MSU Foundation scholarships are specifically for students studying nursing.
CPE Partnership Scholarships
The Department of Nursing continues to offer Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) Healthcare Workforce Investment Fund scholarships for students in the Prelicensure BSN and AASN Programs through partnerships with CHI St. Joseph, UK St. Claire, and UK King’s Daughters.
The CPE and CHI St. Joseph Scholarship awards eligible Junior and Senior BSN students a $10,000 scholarship award to assist with their education costs in their last 1-2 years in the program. If awarded, the student will be required to commit to work at one of the CHI St. Joseph Health System facilities for a 12-month period.
The CPE and UK St. Claire Scholarship awards eligible AASN Program 2nd and 3rd semester students with $15,000 of educational cost assistance. Students receiving this award are required to work at UK St. Claire for a 12-month period upon graduation.
In addition, the CPE UK King’s Daughters Scholarship awards eligible AASN and BSN students $19,000 to assist with their education costs. This is a renewable scholarship for up to 2 years.
