• 🗒️ Fall billing statements are now posted. Log in to your student account in Self-Service to view your balance. 
• Accept a Financial Responsibility Agreement online at Self-Service > Student Finance by Monday, August 18.
• ‼️ Please check your student account online via Self-Service > Student Finance. If you have a balance due, you must arrange to pay in full or enroll in an online payment plan by Monday, August 25. 
• 🏦 Sign up for direct deposit of your student refund and/or work-study payroll check at Self-Service > Banking Information as soon as possible. This is the quickest and most efficient way to receive student refunds and/or payroll checks if they apply to you.
• Elect to receive your annual IRS 1098-T tax form electronically via Self-Service > Tax Information > 1098 Information.

• If you haven't applied for housing, do it now—space is limited!

• 🎓 High school graduates: Your final official transcript is required and must show a graduation date.
• 📒 Dual credit/AP students: Send final transcripts if dual credit was taken at another school/scores if not already.

• 📚Check your email for a summary of your class materials through Eagle Books. With Eagle Books, you'll have access to your materials on the first day of classes.
• 🧑‍🏫 Blackboard is MSU's learning management app. Log in and check it out. It's used for online classes and for in-person classes for course documents and resources.
• 🗓️ Review the academic calendar for important dates and deadlines.

• 🚙 Purchase your parking permit if you're bringing a vehicle.
• 🗺️ Review the campus map and be sure to look at parking zones.
• 🪪 Be sure you have your EagleCard ID.
• 🏠 Verify your residency or other special circumstances. If you submitted a residency petition, check the status.
• 🍽️ Check your meal plan and explore dining locations. 
• ✅ Check for any specialized onboarding info if you're a veteran student, student-athlete, or honors student.
