Martin Hall

Construction is underway on a second new residence hall, with occupancy expected by the spring of 2027.

About the Building

MSU’s Board of Regents and the Council on Postsecondary Education have approved the $10 million building, which will house approximately 80 students.

The new hall is named in honor of alum Wayne Martin (Class of 1968, 1972), former men's basketball coach and Athletic Hall of Fame member, Founders Award recipient and regent.

The new hall will be similar in architecture to the new Prefontaine Hall on Martindale Drive and is located near the former Normal Hall.
